What is rugby firld?

The rugby field, also known as the pitch, is a rectangular playing area used for playing rugby. The field has a length of between 94 and 100 meters and a width of between 68 and 70 meters. It is divided into two halves, each with a try line at either end. The try line is located at the back of the in-goal area, which is 10 meters deep.

The pitch is typically made of natural grass or artificial turf, with defined lines for the touch line (sideline), goal line, and halfway line. The pitch may also have markings for penalty kicks, scrums, and 22-meter dropouts.

The pitch is surrounded by a perimeter fence, which is used to mark the boundaries of the playing area. The fence also serves as a safety barrier to keep spectators away from the action.

During a rugby match, players must stay within the boundaries of the pitch and can only touch the ball with their hands in limited situations, such as when throwing the ball in after it has gone out of bounds. The goal of the game is to score points by carrying or kicking the ball across the opponent's try line and touching it down.
